Welcome to Home-Start Amber Valley. We were set up in 1980 to support families who have at least one child under the age of 5 years. We recruit and train volunteers from the local community, who are usually parents themselves, to offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families within the Amber Valley area. We believe that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play the key role in giving their children a good start in life and helping them achieve their full potential. |
